On his bike for Dementia!

21/05/2021

My late Mother lived with dementia and that got me involved with the Alzheimer’s Society.

I’m a dementia champion and have been a member of the Wrexham Dementia Friendly steering group since its formation.

I’m 72 years of age and cycling is my main means of exercise so this gives me the opportunity to fund raise for a cause which is obviously very close to my heart.

I endeavour to get out every day and average 10 plus miles in and around Wrexham where I live.

David Mainwaring

If like David you too would like to get on your bike, walk a few miles, don on your Denim for Dementia to raise funds for Alzheimers, please visit Https://www.alzheimers.org.uk.
