Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) – sharing, and supporting the use of the best available knowledge and evidence about what works in social care and social work.

Developing Evidence Enriched Practice (DEEP) website – information about the DEEP principles and approach, projects, the methods and tools used in DEEP and upcoming events.

Community Care Inform – Children’s and adults resource centres with in depth information for social work practice.

The Social Care Elf – Quality research, policy and guidance relevant to UK social care.

Research in Practice – Supporting evidence-informed practice with children and families, young people and adults.

IRISS – Scotland based, ensuring relevant and accessible information for the social services workforce.

CES – Ireland based, connecting people with evidence and knowledge and capacity to evaluate.

Foundations: What Works Centre for Children and Families – Generating and championing actionable evidence that improves services to support family relationships.

List of What Works Centres – Other topics that may be of interest include; wellbeing, homelessness and improving quality of life for the elderly.

CASCADE – Publish briefings which are short accessible summaries of research findings, also provides information on research projects and links with the what works centre.
