Amser Third Sector Fund

25/01/2023

Carers Trust Wales have launched the Amser Short Breaks Fund for the third sector. Recently launched, with a first closing date for applications of 6 February 2023. More information on Amser can be found here. Please share this with your third sector partners and colleagues.

Part of our process of considering Amser applications will involve liaison with Regional Partnership Boards – mainly to ensure we are not duplicating efforts, but also to ensure you are aware of the applications coming forward from your region. We will therefore be emailing each regional partnership board with an outline list of who has applied in each region and asking you for a brief comment on these proposals. We are likely to be in touch on this late February and will need a quick turnaround. Please let me know who is best to involve and their email address.

Freelance Assessor Contract Opportunity – please share

We are recruiting independent, freelance assessors to help us assess applications and bring some objectivity and accountability to the process. This will be a paid position and people need to be available between 3 February and 6 March and commit to a minimum of 5 applications. More information on the role can be found here. Please share far and wide as we need a range of skills and experience helping us out!

We will also be recruiting for a Grants Advisory Panel, to help oversee our process and review grant applications. More on this to follow.
