Briefing session on induction framework and learning resource for Responsible Individuals

26/01/2018

Social Care Wales invites you to an event in February for the:

•  All Wales Induction Framework for Health and Social Care; and the

•  Information and Learning Resource for Responsible Individuals

The event will be split across 2 separate sessions and you have the option of attending either or both of these.

All Wales induction framework

The session for the All Wales Induction Framework is aimed specifically at those who are responsible for supporting managers / employers to implement the new framework, therefore this is a targeted invite for you. There will be an expectation that those attending the session will use the briefing pack to support the role out of the new induction framework that will come into force on the 1st April 2018.

The event will provide an introduction to the new framework and the supporting resources, including a briefing pack that can be used to cascade information to managers / employers.

Information and Learning Resource for Responsible Individuals

This session is aimed at staff development and training professionals and others involved in training Responsible Individuals (RIs) on their responsibilities under the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act.

The session will provide a briefing on the learning resource and how it may be used to support the learning and development of RIs. Please note, this session is not for Responsible Individuals themselves – it is for those leading on the training and development of RIs.

To apply for a place on either or both of these sessions, please use the links below.  Places are restricted by invitation only, if you want someone to attend on your behalf or have any further queries please contact Ffyona Usher (Ffyona.Usher@socialcare.wales)
