Dementia strategy event feedback

30/01/2020

We had a fantastic day at Theatr Clwyd on 21 November looking at the dementia strategy. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed.

Around 150 people attended on the day and for those who couldn’t make it we filmed the event and shared the video and the handouts so that they could still take part.

There was a lot of support at the event for developing a strategy across North Wales, developing more consistent support for people in the region and working together better. There was really positive feedback about how much people had learned from each other about the lived experience of people living with dementia and carers and the different services available to support them.

Below you can download a full report from the event based on the notes from the day and the evaluation forms. This information will feed into the strategy along with the other work that’s taken place so far.

Dementia Strategy Event Report (21 November 2019)

At the event we mentioned some service mapping work that’s still under development as we’re updating it based on feedback from the event. If you’d like a copy of that please contact Sarah Bartlett for details. And as always, if you have any other comments you’d like to make about the strategy work please do get in touch.
