Learning disability provider’s event on 14 October 2019!

23/08/2019

This event aims to introduce the North Wales Learning Disability Strategy to all providers of support across the region.

We hope to be able to engage participants to become involved in looking at the delivery of the strategy over the next 5 years. There will be a number of workshops focusing on different areas, as well as lightening presentations on best practice.

This event will also allow participants to have the opportunity to input into the Learning Disability transformation project work plan and in particular the five work package areas. It is also a chance for providers to talk about their issues or concerns in relation to each work stream and to discuss how the transformation team can help them going forward and explore opportunities to become a pilot partner and hear of the one-off funding for exploratory/alternative models of support.

The event is aimed at any person or organisation whether paid or unpaid who provides support to an individual or groups of individuals. We also welcome support workers to attend alongside people they support.
