The original 2017 population needs assessment is still available for information along with the updates produced between 2017 and 2021 about priorities including children and young people’s residential care and fostering; care homes for older people; dementia; learning disabilities; and carers. In October 2020 we carried out a rapid review of the available research about the impact of Covid-19 on people who receive care and support and changes to the way these services have been delivered.
