Welsh Health Hack Returns!

22/10/2020

The 8th Welsh Health Hack, taking place online on 10 and 17 November, offers a great opportunity for NHS Staff, universities and industry to collaborate and network to develop early-stage ideas that might solve operational health challenges in Wales.

The Welsh Health Hack brings healthcare professionals and digital, technical and data-based companies together to solve clinical challenges from across the health and care sector in Wales.

The first stage of the Welsh Health Hack is a call out to colleagues from Health and Social Care to submit challenges impacting their work. To submit your challenge, you will simply need to complete a brief questionnaire online. Following the submission of your challenge, a member of the organising team will be in touch. Once your challenge is published, colleagues will have the opportunity to open conversations and network ahead of the event.

Part one of the event focuses on pitching your challenge and finding a partner to collaborate with to develop a solution to be shared with an audience and panel of judges in the second stage of the event, on 17 November. In addition to the £200,000 of joint funding from Welsh Government and Agor IP (to be split among all winning  challenges), external experts will also offer advice on how to take proposed solutions forward. The Welsh Health Hack team will be on hand to provide ongoing support and guidance following the conclusion of the event.

Find out more and submit your challenge now!
