The Children’s Regional Partnership Board oversees the projects relating to children and young people, which are part of the model of care to support families to stay together safely and therapeutic support for care experienced children.
The support ranges from local services that step in early and stop issues getting worse and different organisations and services working together to provide support, right the way through to specialist and very specialist service that support children at risk of harm or in crisis. There’s more information about our approach in The Right Door strategy.
Projects include the Local Integrated Family Team (LIFT) in Conwy and Denbighshire, a multi-agency team made up of staff from Conwy, Denbighshire and Betsi Cadwaladr University Hospital Trust. LIFT provides early intervention specialist help for families with managing children and young people’s (up to 18 years old) challenging behaviour at home.
It also includes intensive support teams for children with complex needs, such as The Multisystemic Therapy service in Flintshire and Wrexham, The Bwthyn Y Ddol service in Conwy and Denbighshire and the Gwynedd and Mon Transformation Team
